‘ROCK-BOUND’is a dynamic interplay of abstract forms and vivid colors. Dominated by large, overlapping shapes, it features a palette of warm oranges, yellows, and reds contrasted with cooler blues and purples. The translucent layers create a sense of depth and movement, as if the elements are in a constant state of flux. Unique textures emerge throughout, hinting at geological formations or rugged landscapes. 

The background, a muted ochre, enhances the vibrancy of the shapes, allowing them to stand boldly against it. Rani is an artist whose practice moves fluidly between painting, printmaking, and mixed media. Originally trained in graphic design, she brings a sharp sensitivity to colour, texture, and process into her work, transforming everyday sights into abstract visual language. Working primarily in acrylics, she explores the unexpected beauty found in ordinary surfaces, building layered, tactile compositions in paint and pastels. Her curiosity for materials has also led her to experiment with stone, metal, and various printing techniques, each offering its own challenges and discoveries. Drawing inspiration from shadows, shapes, colours, and patterns, Rani continues to reimagine the familiar through texture, abstraction, and process-driven exploration.
