This work refers to the series of basins treated by the artist.
The soft pastel color shades highlight the light and the blue of the sky which are reflected in the water of the pool. The bird’s eye view of the water lilies shows them sometimes in the shadows, sometimes in the light and the fuchsia-pink water lily flowers stand out against the blue background of the water.
This work was presented at the Art Capital 2024 water drawing and painting fair in Paris. The work must be placed under glass by a professional framer, for its definitive protection.
