The particular character of Seville was revealed to me through flamenco dance.
I was captivated by el cante (the song), then el baile (the dance) and finally by el toque (the music), this ensemble forming the Duende. So, it was with disturbing emotion that I photographed Seville, imbued with all these powerful and overwhelming elements.
I immersed myself in both the dazzling light of the day and the shadows of the night, in joy and in suffering.
